His life:

Firstborn child of Lajos Ring, a carriage builder from Marcali, and Anna Lierheim

Baptized Roman Catholic

October 1892: Enrollment at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna

1892–1896: Studied in the department of general painting with Siegmund L’Allemand and Christian Griepenkerl

From 1896: Continuation of art studies in Munich

From 1912: Exhibitions with figurative works and landscapes in the Kunsthalle and the Nationalsalon

Malte preferred destitute tramps, farm and market scenes

Mid-20th century: Worked as a portrait painter in Budapest

November 1922: Marriage to Valéria Sarolta Várallyai (20 years younger, born in Dévényújfalu)

Lived for about 30 years in outer Erzsébetváros (Budapest) on Murányi and Nefelejcs streets

Died at the age of 58.
