Atmospheric vedute painting by the well-known Danish landscape painter Viggo Pedersen (1854-1926) with a view of the town of Holmstrup on Fynen in Denmark around 1906.
1854: Born in Copenhagen
1871-1878: Attended the Royal Danish Academy of Art.
1881: Travel to Paris, Switzerland and Italy.
1882: Sold a work "A Cobbled Street Among Ancient Trees" to the Royal Painting Collection.
1883-1884: Summer stay in Sora, Campania, Italy with the artist Joakim Skovgaard.
1884: Marriage to Elisabeth Bella Marie Borup.
1889: Participation in the Exposition Universelle in Paris, where he won the honorary prize.
1891: Co-founder of the Free Exhibition.
1900: Participation in the Exposition Universelle in Paris, where he won the bronze medal.
1904: Member of the plenary assembly of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
