Heymann has been presenting his works at the Haus der Kunst in Munich since 1940. He was exempt from military service to create works of art.

1920-24 studied in Munich with Prof. R.Engels, 1926 studied in Dresden (Feldbauer), followed by study trips and work as an illustrator.
In 1930, Heymann moved to his adopted home of Munich
1938 first exhibitions at the Haus der Kunst in Munich.
1939 Exemption from military service by the German Reich on condition that he create paintings for the Haus der Kunst.
The paintings exhibited in the Haus der Kunst were almost exclusively purchased by members of the government. The prices ranged between 6,000 and 15,000 Reichsmarks.
Publication in art magazines and journals.
1946 Creation of the families and factory history of the global company "4711" in several large paintings and portraits.

Heymann's works are represented in museums (Haus der deutsche Kunst Berlin) and in private collections.
