He created oil paintings, watercolors, graphics and drawings.
Apprenticeship at the Kiel Craftsmen School.
Studied from 1924 to 1928 at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts.
Later worked in Kiel as a set designer at the Kiel City Theater.
Later as a freelance artist, active in Berlin and Kiel.
He worked a lot for public institutions.
